Tuesday August 17th, 2004

Meeting called to order at 7:12pm

River of Grass – Kathy Kennedy informed PPTOPA the county is now funding part of ROG. Due to this fact, we must now abide to county rules and procedures, which include: submitting plans and fireproofing our sets at $60 per gallon for fireproofing material. We signed the contract for this year already since we already announced our schedule and blocked the dates. ROG is not a suitable place for us anymore.

Submittal of proposal from the Miami Herald – see Kim for hardcopy of proposal.

Joe was not at the meeting, so according to James the Treasury report shows the following:

Ragtime – made $14,000.00

Biloxi Blues – lost $1,600.00

We need to change the way bookkeeping is kept.

Rusty's brother, Jay, will do our audit for our books and will donate the money spent back to PPTOPA. Joe knows about this and hasn’t followed up on it yet.

Keith – needs to get business plan done ASAP. A general plan for any submittal. Basically, we want to end up with our own facility.

No one for Broadway Bound

For Showboat we want to have a list of rules for obligations for cast members.

2005 Gala – The concept is to choose music from shows we probably won’t produce ex. Meadow Lark from Baker’s Wife. Send out list to our audience let them pick about 10 songs and the rest be picked by the board. Generally, the argument was we should revisit past shows like the 2004 Gala. Nothing voted on. Submit ideas to James or Alvin

$1500.00 allocated to service body mics.

Everyone think about 2005-2006 season….what shows would you like to do?
