Patty Fernandez (Dotty Otley) is making her first appearance on the PPTOPA stage, but she is no stranger to the theatre. She is excited to be performing the role of Dotty, a role she played five years ago. Patty has recently appeared in Love , Sex and the IRS, Gentleman Prefer Blondes and Run from Your Wife as well as choreographed Wizard of Oz and Bye, Bye Birdie. She appreciates her husband’s support of her theatrical pursuits, even though he often jokingly asks, “Aren’t you going to take a break soon?!” James A. Cichewicz (Lloyd Dallas) is President of the Pembroke Pines Theatre of the Performing Arts, Inc., as well as actor, director, and producer. He has numerous, award winning, roles to his credit; Hello Dolly, Fiddler on the Roof and Brigadoon to name a few. James is pleased to be working alongside his friends, especially his wife. He dedicates this performance to his great-grandfather, Ralph Sinclair. James is proud to help bring theatre to Pembroke Pines and hopes to further his dreams and the dreams of the company with a performing arts center in the not too distant future. Todd Talbott (Gary Lejuene) is still a new comer to the group and the stage in this his second production. Todd is usually busy working at a computer screen at Allnetservices.com. He last appeared on our stage in last years sleeper hit, You Can’t Take it with You. Since then he has been waiting quietly backstage for his chance to appear in front of a crowd. Maureen S. Mulvihill (Brook Ashton) was born and raised in New York City where she and her twin sister studied music. Maureen clearly remembers seeing Gigi at seven years old; where she was first bit by the theatre bug. Since then she studied ballet performing in Cinderella and the Nutcracker. Recently appeared in the PPTOPA production of Guys and Dolls. Dee Dee Goff (Poppy Norton-Taylor) has performed in community and regional theatre for the past seven years. Among her credits include roles in Oklahoma, Chicago, Pippin, Never Too Late and her favorite roll of Suzette in Don’t Dress for Dinner. An avid and trained dancer, she has grown to love comedy, acting and receives great pleasure in entertaining the audience. When not performing, Dee Dee is a legal assistant. Christopher Serafini (Frederick Fellowes) began his theatre career as a two-line role in a high school, but his passion for the performing arts continues to grow today. Since then he has appeared in Anything Goes, You Can’t Take It with You, Three Penny Opera and Godspell. Chris has appeared in The Odd Couple in New York, Pygmalion in Clearwater and Do Black Patent Leather Shoes Really Reflect Up? in Stuart. Peggy Murray (Belinda Blair) is the Co-Founder and Executive Vice President of Children’s Harbor, Inc., a non-profit child welfare organization serving Florida’s abused and neglected children and families. Peggy has been involved with community theater for about five years, as her workload has permitted. Her credits include the roles of Sister Sarah in Guys & Dolls, Monica Wells in Rehearsal for Murder, Lola in Damn Yankees and Nellie in South Pacific as well as a stint as stage manager. Joe Ferrel (Tim Allgood) Joe has been a member of the cast or has been involve in set design and construction in every PPTOPA show for the past 3 years. He is currently the treasurer of PPTOPA, and provided invaluable service to the group. He is also active in the St. Edward Catholic Church choir. Brian Gates (Selsdon Mowbray) no, he is no relation to BILL. He last appeared on PPTOPA’s stage as Fagin in Oliver. This is the second time he has had the opportunity to play the role of Selsdon Mowbray. Some of his other credits include Mr. Scrooge, Camelot, Hello Dolly, Witness for the Prosecution, Pirates of Penzance, The Micado and some Murder Mystery Dinner Theater. He is supported in his theatrical endeavors by his wife Debbie and son JR |
